Have you ever taken vitamins for excess sleepiness?
Did they give you more energy?
If so, what brand did you take.
I've been taking B12, but it does nothing.

@RinaRina Have you had blood work done? Most regular physicians do regular blood work, but, I also suggest a blood panel that shows your vitamin levels in your blood at this time....also a hair analysis. Then you will know if "vitamins" are what you need or something else might be going on with your body draining your energy.
if your current doctor is not willing to do these extra tests...go to a Naturopathic Doctor and have them drawn. You may also find that they are more helpful to recommending therapies using herbs and vitamins rather than drug therapy.

@RinaRina I agree about the blood work that Sea mentioned. Many things can cause sleepiness. Depression, not sleeping well, thyroid issues, etc. Have you talked to a Dr.? If you haven't I would suggest you start there. I am just the opposite. I have too much energy. That is a good thing when you have a lot t do, but it stinks when your trying to go to sleep and you cannot shut down.

I take B12 daily, and have quarterly lab testing in order to know the level within my body. When my levels drop, I am jittery, sluggish, and sleepy.

There are a number of things that can cause excessive sleepiness. Taking vitamins may or may not help. A visit to your doctor might help determine the cause.
A more serious condition like sleep apnea is one that needs professional medical attention. Not saying that's what you have, but it could be one cause.

I have a Dr.'s app't on the 18th. Just thought I'd check & see f the vitamins worked for anyone.
Thanks for the reminder, tho'. I will ask for blood work when I go to the app't.

Save your money. I don't know how much B12 you are taking daily, but don't expect it to give you all sorts of energy.
You don't even know what the real problem is, and yet you're spending money on B12 to treat it? Vitamins provide needed nutrients for the body but don't expect all sorts of energy. Get with your doctor and figure out what's really going on in your body.

I am very vitamin deficient. I found this out by blood work. I have been very tired and with no energy
I am taking Rx levels of vit D and B 12 shots. I will be tested again in a few months
One thing I noticed after taking my massive does of Vit D is, I now have color under my nail bed once again
Look at your fingernails. If they look very white, and with white lines going vertically you are most likely anemic

Try taking Ginseng , Start with 100 mg. Or believeit or not try bee propolis capsules or apple cider vinegar capsules. I like the ginseng and also the apple cider vinegar capsules , I tried andrew lessmans ginseng , before and it did nothing , Buy one from puritans pride or swansons.
