Deep biopsy-lump on head

Have a lump on my head and the doctor will be doing a deep biopsy on it as an out patient in the hospital. Asked if it would hurt, he said you will probably feel the pricks from the needles to numb the area.

Wondering if anyone who has had a biopsy done on their head could share their experiences....thanks.
