I'm seeing a laser surgeon/ophthalmologist on Monday and am trying to decide if it's the right time to have my cataracts removed. I was told when I was 48 (I'm now 56) that I had the start of cataracts and I'm finding that every day activities are becoming a little more difficult, i.e., seeing my computer screen, the television, driving, etc. I work every day on a computer and I'm really noticing a difference in not being able to see my screen as well as I used to. I've got the "halo" effect on the television screen, on my computer screen and when driving at night. If you wouldn't mind, would you please share how you knew it was time to have your own cataracts removed. Thanks!
