Dead Spots On Liver

[ Edited ]

I've been in a lot of pain. I have been in the hospital since Thursday. An MRI has shown dead spots on the liver that they say comes from throwing blood clots.

They have tested my heart and I was told that bowels could also throw blood clots. Today I came home with some sort of heart monitor that will show throwing of the clots (or so they say)  This all makes no sense to me and I told the doctor I had never heard of this.  He said it is very rare.

Has anyone here ever heard of this?

No, I have never heard of this, but I am sorry you're not well.

I hope your doctors get to the bottom on this and find some relief for you.  I wish you well.  Take care.

I have not heard of this health issue and  understand your feelings.  As many may suggest, it might be a good idea to get a second opinion at some point, it is always good to hear from another specialist.

I am sorry you are going through this ordeal and hope the outcome is good health and peace of mind.  Please let us know how you are doing.

@jubilant

Have had my own heart and clot issues over the last 2 decades. I am familiar with the phrase "throwing clots", have been on several different heart monitoring devices, both in and out of the hospital. Not sure that phrase is used as a medical term.

I have never heard of this device that shows the "throwing of clots".

Wishing you pain free days and improvement with your medical and health situation. 🙏

No, I've never heard of that, but hoping they get to the bottom of whatever your issue is and you are well soon. Prayers for you.

I have not heard of this before, but I personally believe that the human body is very remarkable.

I've recently had a very rare and serious infection in the heel of my right foot and lower leg, and I've been recovering from that for the past several weeks so I guess that nothing would surprise me anymore, regarding what can happen to our bodies.

I'm really very sorry that this has happened to you and I hope that the monitor will show something while you're wearing it so that the doctors can find out what is going on.

I really hope and pray that you're feeling better soon! ((Hugs to you.)) Heart

I've heard of liver lesions and liver fibrosis.  I never heard of dead spots.  But I'm sure the doctors will figure it out.  Wishing you all the best in your recovery.
