I don't think the docs would have been ok with the delay if the imaging looked bad.

Re: Daughter is having surgery to remove suspicious growth in breast.

UPDATE ON MY DAUGHTER'S BREAST SURGERY:

I hope that at lease 1/4 of those of you wonderful people who replied with such kindness and love will see this notice.

My daughter and I had some FaceTime this afternoon, during which she indicated that her surgery has been canceled until at least April 5th, as the hospital, under these current circumstances, will perform only emergency/trauma surgeries.

This has thrown my daughter into a tizzie, as a "locator" type device was surgically implanted into the affected breast.  However, it's not only painful, but that pain is waking her several times at night.  Given that her surgery date is now truly unknown, I advised her to get in touch with her surgeon to "tell" him to remove that device the heck from her breast.  I sure hope he is receptive to her complaints of pain and lack of sleep.

Again, thank you so much for all of your care, going the mile to send kind thoughts and prayers and also being there for me.

@sfnative, I'm sorry to hear that your daughter's surgery has been indefinitely postponed. Being in constant pain while she is waiting must make it so much more stressful for her! How did your MRI turn out? I hope you got good news! Praying for you both and wishing you both strength moving forward!
