@Patriot3 OH no!  That sounds miserable!  How about a little sympathy and a lot of prayers coming your way? Heart

It's been a month since you got Covid. Wondering, how you are and if the ill effects have cleared. I am hoping you're much better @Patriot3 .

@Shelbelle Why no Covid shot? You are always so cautious about product ingredients that I wonder why you are avoiding covid vax?

Maybe she's up to speed on the facts and knows it's not the great thing people have been led to believe.

I think this reply from Thinking Out Loud sums it up pretty much. We are just very leery of too many shots, and decided not to get any more. And as far as being careful of ingredients, do we really know what is in the Covid vaxxes and what could lie down the road for getting so many. ?

@Shelbelle   I have never had the flu vaccine or the COVID vaccine and I have never had the flu or COVID.

My husband got COVID, but had no symptoms.  He had to take a COVID test to get a colonoscopy and tested positive.  I had a difficult time keeping him home and away from people.  He felt great and didn't think he was sick.

I was around many people with active COVID.  I even visited a friend in a nursing home and her room was shut off because my friend and her roommate both had Covid.  I wore a mask, but never got Covid.

I am not sure that the Covid vaccine works as it was supposed to.  I personally think it was a dud.  Many people now have heart health issues caused by the vaccine.  I am so glad I kept that poison out of my system.

Hi, Carmie, my DH and I are in our 70's and neither of us have had Covid, our last vax was in 2021. People need to remember vax does not prevent it, it just hopefully will be a more moderate case.  All we can do is hope we all stay well. We do get flu shots, and had the Shingrix shots and pneumonia.

Thank you everyone for your kind words and caring.  I think I am getting better sometimes and others, not so well.  Good days and bad days as the saying goes.

I'm not coughing quite so much, but am still doing breathing treatments and "sleeping" in my lazy boy.  Dr said perhaps he would order xrays.  Had them before and they showed okay, but am wondering.  I'm going to follow up w/the Dr.

The not sleeping is hard to deal with.  Thanks again everyone.

@Carmie I disagree, many people have heart and lung problems from Covid Infections, not the vaccine. I saw one of my coworkers yesterday, I had not seen her in a year. She was hospitalized with Covid for 4 months in 2021. In the ICU much of that time.

She was severely compromised in her ability to breath, just walking 15 feet.

She is only in her 50's. Her lungs will not improve.

I have had every Covid Vaccine offered. Even just recently. I have had mild cases of Covid X 2. No problems. I attribute that to the vaccine.

I am a RN and have seen to much. I would not take a risk not getting vaccinated against Covid, Pneumonia, Shingles, Flu, Whooping Cough, RSV

@conlt I think many people had problems from both Covid & the vaccine.

"Young men have been identified as a group at higher risk for developing myocarditis following mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination, particularly after the second dose."   Myocarditis is a serious heart issue that many got from the vaccine.

I, along with my husband both decided not to get the vaccine. DH never got covid.  I did get it once last summer.  It was going around in Europe and I was on vacation. I was off of my usual schedule, not taking my supplements, not staying hydrated and around large groups of people.

I got sick but it wasn't bad at all. What was worse for me was getting a gout attack in my big toe right after covid.  I suffered far more with that.

If it makes you feel better to get every vaccine, then I think that's the right course for you.  Everyone is different and should have that choice.

I have a compromised immune system and get the flu shot yearly and Covid booster every 6 months so does my husband. If I got either it could lead to many complications.

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.
