Hi @SilleeMee - I've had the same reaction from a Covid vax received about 3 years ago, itching, redness and warm to the touch where I was vaccinated which lasted for several days, no issues since then from getting the vax. I've never had any issues when receiving the flu shot but last year my arm was really sore for about 3-4 days couldn't lay on my arm while sleeping, really strange. This year, no issues from both vaccines at all.

I feel for you. I am religious about vaccines and just got my booster in September. I had covid Christmas 2023. Luckily, I had all my vaccines and it wasn't a bad case.

Sorry you got sick. I've never had any of the shots and have never had a bad case of covid either and I know others that can say the same.

Sorry you've gotten Covid. How strange with you having all shots and home lots of the time.

I had my Covid booster last year. I don't know whether to get the Covid this year. Everyone says it's between you and your doctor.

Saw my doctor and asked her. She absolutely refused to recommend. It's up to me and silent. What the heck? And then, she would give me the flu shot, and if I wanted she would send a prescription for Covid to Publix. I don't know whether to get it or not.

My doctor did say Covid booster last year gave me protection.

I haven't had flu that I can remember.

I'll continue with my success as being a constant hand washer.

God help we only have to go through a Pandemic once in a lifetime.

@febe1 I received my Covid Vaccine last weekend and happy that I did. I have stayed up-to-date on all of my vaccines. I am a RN and have seen the good work that vaccines and medications do. I have 45 years experience working with the geriatric population. Now, I am geriatric. I am not going to get chronic lung or other problems from illness because I did not take a scientifically studied vaccine or medication. I live in Florida and received my vaccine in Publix. I did not need a doctor's RX. If you are 65 or older, you should be able to make and appointment and easily get the vaccine.

Like you, I got only the first two. I wouldn't have gotten any if not for family pressure. I never tested so if I had it, the symptoms were mild or non-existent.

However, since I got those two, I've had depressing dreams. I sleep well, always have, only rarely a bad dream. I blame those shots but there's no proof. Every drug and vaccine has side effects so I avoid them if possible.
