They ask you about any allergic reactions beforehand, and I think my tech said she was putting just a bit in my arm to be sure there was no reaction.

Hi everyone. I made it through the CT scan with contrast. The only problem was that the nurse couldn't find a good vein. I got poked twice; once in each arm. She finally liked a vein on the inside of my right forearm. It hurt like ----l . The scan itself was very fast once the IV was started. It felt weird when the dye was going through my body, especially in my throat. I'll find out on Thursday if the Cancer is in remission. Thanks for the advice and info. Sue
