Did you know keeping your colon healthy promotes wellness. Your able to monitor through checking elimination. Healthy colon can move toxins and waste more than once a day. For more information online offers a diagram. Lastly, Try not drinking fluids with meals. Stomach juices release natural enzymes. Perfection of design.

I just bought a two-month Cleanse from Evine. It's important. Wellness and more energy are a product of this.

 @Sweet_Serenity  Yes!  Walker, Jensen, Erhet, all great reads emerged (and I still own/implement the knowledge in the books)  in the 60s that introduced the idea of a healthy gut... old school.  They emphasized diet....today we are proactive with probiotics and fermented foods (that I like to add to my salads).   Human microbiomes need to be a happpy healthy place!

@Sweet_Serenity

True.

There's a HUGE difference between moving the colon and a HEALTHY colon.  Fruits/vegetables/legumes with lots of natural fiber is the only way to have a healthy colon.  Artificially stimulating the colon is never a good idea.

I would suggest eating a handful of prunes and/or 2-3 cups of brown rice...then report back tomorrow morning.  Of course a plant-based lifestyle will produce the best overall, long-term results for optimum colon health.  More dietary fiber the better...not going to get that with a low carb, fad diet.

Shape of mine 🍌 two or more daily. Vegan exercise swimming running yoga. Firm believer meditation key going within your body. Result mind body soul connection. Before changing my lifestyle constipation headaches and general feeling of sluggishness. Energy level experienced now off the charts.🙋

If I eat to much fiber I get diarrhea... Don't know how to regulate that for my system.  I am also lactose so that plays a big part in my diet.... Colonoscopy was successful and 4 polyps were removed - felt good about that....Need to add fiber slowly....

That's one reason probiotics are so beneficial to your immune system.

A few years back I was having terrible stomach issues that ultimately we believe was a build-up of many things including various meds.

Anyhow during that time I was being treated by several doctors including my family doctor and a gastro doc and the idea of colon cleansing or detoxing came up and both were highly against it.

They both said if you are eating properly, there is no reason to cleanse the colon and in fact, it could be dangerous.  They also said there is no scientific research that shows that any of the supposed benefits of a colon cleanse are real.
