@kismet ---Kismet, I am very sorry for you and your daughter----any cancer is horrible and any time it is dx is horrible as well----but aren't you glad she has the most up to date treatments availale now, then even just the 15 years ago you went thru it----glad she is taking care of business despite covid--bravo to you both!!! Had stage 3 breast cancer and that dang tumor did hurt--was dx 6 months after my last mammo--so mine was fast too. I went thru my cancer adventure mostly on my own as my mom was dealing with her own demons--I instructed my family not to tell her anything. glad you are there to help her!!! good luck to her and you.

Re: Cold Cap Duing Chemo?

wagirl, yes I am glad that research has come so far for women today.  My daughter was just past her yearly exam when she felt pain and thought it was from doing work around the house.  I knew about fast growing cancer but I guess I should of mentioned it to her but didn't.  She was a grade 3, stage1 with satellites.  I more or less went through my cancer myself since my husband was no help and my daughter had just had a new baby.  She was afraid to talk about cancer. My family is 2,000 miles away and never told anyone at the time.  No breast cancer in my family and no gene and we both get it.  I think I remember you posting since we live in the same state.  It is something I wouldn't wish on anyone.  Did you get your head shaved before chemo.  She decided to do that and buy whatever she needs before.  I did tell her that some people may not call her or ask about her and she found that out herself.  It's sad.
