Is anyone on these boards taking this supplement & what has been your experience with it. I have heard that it can cause sleep disturbances & I have enough problems in that area but I also take statins & have heard that CoQ10 can help with certain issues associated with them.

Please be specific about dosage, etc. when replying.

Thank you!

I take CoQ10 every day and have for years. It is essential to your body. It is in every cell of your body and you need it for energy. Certain things deplete it from your body, for example, Stating drugs, stress, etc. It does give you energy, therefore it is best to take it in the morning. You will notice a big difference in how you feel, especially if your body is depleted and you replenish it.

Thanks Hearts.

Do you notice any unpleasant side effects?

I am on the fence because I have been an insomniac my entire adult life & also have some digestive issues.

I take it daily with breakfast and dinner, 200 mg total, and have noticed no sleep disturbances and no negative side effects.

I have absolutely no side effects from Coq10. I forgot to mention I only take Andrew Lessman CoQ10 as I can be sure his has no unpleasant side effects like some others. But make sure you only take it in the morning because it DOES give you energy. Also, I also have digestive issues and use his Friendly Flora probiotic. It resolved my problems. The coq10 I take is 200mg.

I take it most days; one 100 mg. pill w/breakfast and another w/dinner. I have had no problems or side effects. I do not take a statin drug. As we age our bodies produce less CoQ10 so that's why I take it.

I take a Kaneka Ubiquinol (CoQH) 100 mg./daily since that's saves a conversion step in the body (converting CoQ10 to CoHQ). Ubiquinol is the antioxidant form whereas Ubiquinone (CoQ10) is not. I haven't noticed any difference to my sleeping after taking it than before I began.

Hi... I take Truq10 ( the ubiquinol form )...I have had no negative side effects and feel so much better on this supplement...A much improved sense of well being...cannot put a specific finger on it...What I did realize was that when I moved abroad, and ran out of my supplement and could not find it there initially, that I felt HORRID...to not have it made me feel really bad...that is when I knew it was a powerful supplement...

Regarding Statins...this is how Andrew Lessman describes it...He said within each of our cells, there is an assembly line that makes cholesterol...The statins help to shut down that assembly line of cholesterol production...However along with cholesterol, CoQ 10 is also produced on that same assembly line...So it is basically shutting down production of that as well...so, losing the good with the bad...

In a recent video he mentioned it is imperative when on statins to take EITHER form of this supplement...He recommended 200mg of the CoQ 10, or 100mg of the TruQ 10 ...and also said it was imperative to combine with a b12 supplement to highly facilitate the best results...

I personally take the TruQ 10 ( ubiquinol ) at 200 mg per day, as recommended by my doc as I carry some extra weight...

I truly believe in the quality of his supplements as they are science based and backed by massive research...

I am low in D3 and was on another brand and my levels did not move much...I started taking his at the same dosage, and the levels raised pretty rapidly...vast difference...I just this the quality and lack of fillers, binders etc just are more readily absorbed and effective...

It is just my opinion though...I am sure there are others that are decent too...

Anyone ordering his Today special?...I am...cant be without his Leg and vein support...and want to try the Resveratrol supplement too...So I am buying his big bundle...great deal...

Anyone else notice his new Essential 1 multivitamin?...it is the same except it now includes 3000 IU of vitamin D3 in it...the original with 1500 IU is still available...I am really excited about this...

Have a nice day everyone...{#emotions_dlg.tt1}
