Christiane Northrup wellness tip

Her PBS special (Glorious Women Never Age, connected to her book Goddesses Never Age) was recently repeated and I re-watched some of it.   I loved her tip on balance.

Stand on one foot, eyes closed, and see how long you can do it.  Then try on the other foot.

Over time, you should be able to increase your time.

Balance is so needed for us as human beings.

I hope anyone able to stand can give this a try.

I so enjoyed that show on PBS.  I went out and bought her book and I agree that our minds and our state of healthy minds allow us to live a more glorious life.

I just requested this book from my library.  It sounds like it would be an interesting read.

@GingerPeach

I was helping my trainer conduct a Senior Sneakers seminar & he handed out a study showing the benefits of one-legged standing.

Unipedal Standing.

There was a study showing one minute standing on one leg equals 50+minutes of walking, weight-bearing speaking.  Oh, I don't know how true this is, but it's important to balance...for ALL ages!
