aaRe: Chocolate calms coughs

I would try some dark chocolate (I sometimes eat an 88% dark chocolate from the Endangered Species brand and its delicious, not at all bitter.  Some very dark chocolates taste like dirt and some are really good.

Anyway, I'd try it for a cough.

But not milk chocolate.

Thanks, @World Traveler

I had a cough yesterday so I took the opportunity to have a small handful of chocolate chips (only chocolate in the house - and semi-sweet) at bedtime and I didn't cough the rest of the night.

The Endangered Species Brand I’ve seen at Whole Foods.

Like the way they give back.

@GingerPeach Awesome! Thanks for reporting back.

Yes, the boss experiment was kind of cool. This morning he mentioned that he started to cough when he got home, and he got out some dark chocolate, took two pieces, and it worked AGAIN! LOL!

He's a real convert. Smiley LOL
