That makes sense about antibiotics not really being able to reach the infection.  I've been fighting infection in a canine that just came out of nowhere too.  I had no cavity, but apparently the infection was deep in the root of the tooth.

It makes me feel better knowing both you and your husband did well will the surgery.  I hope I'm as lucky.😃❤️

@cheriere - I too am just finding out about your tooth surgery. I will pray for you tomorrow morning and your oral surgeon, that your surgery won't take long and your recovery is painless. I'm sure they will give you something to take at home that will make you sleepy. Rest up and we will see you when you're ready to come back here!

My abscessed two upper left back molars were very infected but I had no symptoms until I had extreme throbbing pain!

Since they were removed, my body has been so much better...I think I'm still clearing the infection!
