Cat's Claw supplement for pain? New to me?

Just starting to read about the supplement named "Cat's Claw?" 

It was recommended on Webmd for pain.

DH had a rare re-currency of sciatica.

The reviews are raving... and I'm skeptical, but open-minded.

Has anyone had experience with this and would you please recount the experience here?

I have no experience with the supplement (just the REAL cat's claw, LOL) but I found some things for you:

UPDATE:

 

This supplement seems to have resolved residual pain/tightness of DH sciatica 

 

I took two doses (4 pills) yesterday and won't do it again. It did make me relaxed and sleepy, but also dizzy.

 Btw, Cat's Claw is a top herb used for Lyme disease, too.
