Would you buy a Casper mattress (bed in a box)?  Consumer Reports rates it very highly in the category of boxed beds.  It's particularly good (highest rating) for petite sized back sleepers, which would be me.

The bed I am using is very old (20 years plus) and I'm afraid full of dust mites because I get bitten all the time.  It's a full size, and I did buy a twin size topper for it a few years ago (because I only sleep on one side).  I've never seen a dust mite and it could be a spider bite, but I've never seen a spider either.

The one I am looking at is $850, not counting the foundation and metal bed frame, which would add $375 to the cost, for a total of $1,225.  They deliver and set up and will come and take it away if you need to return it.

Just thinking about it.  Have looked at it online and Consumer Reports.

I've just recently heard of them so don't have an informed opinion.   Are they going to take your old mattress away for you?  They can be a real hassle to get rid of.

I love my Casper. Bought it almost 2 years ago. No more back and neck pain when I wake up. I have their pillows too. Got them from Target. Best pillows ever.

No one in the family wants this one.  It was not my bed to begin with.  I'll try to find a way to donate it.  I'll probably get the pillows too.  I'm glad you're happy with it.

I live in a large apartment complex.  Maybe they'll let me put a sign up on the management office's bulletin board.  I would be giving it away.

I don't have one myself but my best friend does and loves it.  She used to have an expensive Tempurpedic and likes the Casper much better.

I work with someone who bought a Casper bed and he and his wife like it. I have a memory foam Serta IComfort bed for 3 years now and I will never go back to a spring foundation and regular mattress. I am sure you will need help setting up the Casper when it comes. That would be a concern of mine since I am single.

I don't have a Casper but I do have a Tuft n Needle which is also a bed in a box type.  I love my bed.  So, ddon't be concerned about the bed in a box type.  I did, however, get a Zinus metal bed frame from Amazon for about a hundred.  I believe most of the beds in a box have the 100 day sleep guarantee.  Mine was super easy to set up, I did not need any help at all.

Might want to look at the Amazon reviews for the Casper mattress.  Interesting.

I wouldn't believe a word of it . . . good or bad.  I don't trust that organization/company/whatever, and would never purchase anything from them.
