Annaboxer, you bet I'll have a colonoscopy. My other BFF passed of a hard fought 5 1/2 year cancer battle. Her husband spent much of the last couple years caring for her. Anyway less than two years after she passed, he was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer. She told me about him being scared of a colonoscopy because his first experience wasn't good. He ignored symptoms until he had to be rushed to the ER. He is good now. I take a pill for neuropathy. I have it in the ball of both feet. Hands are good.
Oldness2, good for you. That's a great accomplishment. I'm a three year survivor of endometrial cancer. Just had a CAT scan and am good to go.

Well my Jewish Christmas has gone into the toilet. Because husband can't have his breakfast tomorrow with the group he has decided to make pancakes and eggs for breakfast. He said no Chinese food tomorrow night. Just a movie.
Christmas Eve dinner was pretty good. Brother in law isn't doing too well though. He's about 6'1 and right now maybe 115 lbs. Won't eat. Says he doesn't feel well but won't go to the
Dr. Husband is going to go out there to see what he can do. Basically he's depressed and wants to die. Lord it doesn't get easy does it.
I had my colonoscopy 4 years ago. My Dr wanted us all back in 3 years. I said you saw a pinpoint hyperplastic polyp in rectum nothing in sigmoid and 3 years. Your nuts. Well your mother had colon cancer. I said she had her first colonoscopy at the age of 81. Probably had an adenoma that went bad. My brother had nothing on his last and his Dr told him to come back in 10 years. He wasn't concerned about my mother's history because of her age. I'll do it next year. I've already had 3 of them. I loathe that test but as we all know it's necessary.

I want to wish each and every one you a very happy Christmas Day.
I had company on Sunday, and that was nice. I fixed a dinner, we watched a Christmas movie on television, and we exchanged gifts. My kitty enjoyed playing with the ribbons on the gifts.
I suggested to a relative that we go out to a movie and then have lunch at an oriental restaurant, but she has other commitments. So, I guess kitty and I will be alone today.

@bow regard--hi bow---yes I did try b-1 for months with no change--my onc dr told me if the numbness/tingling wasn't gone or mostly so in 12-18 months after chemo then prob would never get better. tried many of the other b- vits too. Also drank a powdered form of something........ in my drink 2x a day when going thru actual chemo----not sure if I hadn't taken it, this thing would have gotten worse or not???? Will remember what is is and report back..........my brain is mush lately

----everything got pulled out of that room and shoved anywhere there was space upstairs---got 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms----not really expecting to start building till the warmer weather is here, the entire roof needs to be pulld down---hubs will try to enclose that room with insulation for warmth retention and then we can use it to store a few things. Not sure what the next steps will be-

We had a good time at my brothers house last night for xmas Eve--decided on soups and grilled sandwiches, fruits and salads and xmas goodies----was totally delicious and a well needed change to what a normal house is like-----but am exhausted beyond belief and will stay home today, to just be still---altho will putter upstairs to find more room. Tomorrow the fam goes back to work---stripey and I will be left alone-------good or bad--not sure.
Tree is out of the house now--guys came back Sunday--huge pieces of the tree in the front yard so maybe will go count the rings to see how old is is. If I have told you all this--please excuse--am operating with a mushy brain right now.
Oh yes---have appt with dr who worked on my wrist that just happens to be in the same office that the drs who look at knees are---will go there to see if I can get a quick appt---did I tell you that my right knee has some meniscus issues now from the escape I did? Yeah, has been barking at me for days now----
to be contiuned..........pam
