BFF, I only do one... hahaha. 😜

I knew that was perfect for you when I saw it, but I had problems saving it on my kindle.

I'm here.  My mother was almost an hour late picking me up.  There is no pickup parking at the airport, so she parks down the street in a lot where car services, etc wait for arrivals.  There's a board that lists the flights and status.  My plane didn't change to arrived.  She had her cell phone turned off.  It didn't dawn on her that maybe the sign was wrong.  It was too far for me to walk to it.  Typical... and so the fun begins.

GC glad you got there safely. Poor Mom, she was probably all excited about you coming and forgot about her phone. Someone once told me that the girls in Sally's are also part time Beauticians and can really help you. Sounds like your hair is the way you want it now.

Foot is doing better. Time heals most sprains. Doesn't hurt. Swelling is gone.

Pam, and Graciesmom, hope both of you are recovering. I think we all need to take a senior yoga class or something. How about that Tai Cheng that ****** Van ****** does.

Please everyone let's pray for the people in Texas. They are going to get hammered with that storm.

jackie--yes my battered body is doing well, bruises keep popping up still. Just got to learn to WIND UP those loose cords and stack stuff better. Those little su*ckers are going to goodwill, btw---------

Have been watching the hurricane and hoping it won't be as horrendous as predicted---but it is! And for days it will be wrecking havoc. Just hope the folks in that "big" white house have an ounce of sense and get there ASAP.

Loved the exer cartoon---so funny. GC--maybe the airport snafu is the only thing to go wonky this trip-------I know, I know-----glad your blondness has toned down--you blonds ALWAYS have fun tho--------

Thanks for asking about me, Jackie....unfortunately, my leg is not healing. I finished 10 days of antibiotic this morning and my leg is still red and painful. My doctor told me to call him on Monday to let him know how I'm doing---hopefully he will ask me to come in so he can examine my leg again. Maybe I need another round of antibiotics? When my husband had cellulitis on his shin a few years ago, he needed 20 days worth--maybe I do too. My leg is still swollen--a little less--but still feels tight.I cannot believe all I did was miss a step and now I have a big problem with my leg-----I get a clean PET scan---but now this!! Makes me feel frustrated and disgusted. Would appreciate a few prayers for my leg---I feel weird asking for that---but this injury is making me anxious!!

For sure, Graciesmommy. 🙏🙏🙏  Definitely see the Dr.

Jackie, she thinks keeping the phone on uses minutes.  I've told her 6,000,000 times that it doesn't.  You have no idea how this has frustrated sister and I over the last twenty years.  She brings her phone, but doesn't turn it on.  She wanders off, then nobody can find her or call her.  It happened the last time I was here.  We were in the grocery store.  I saw her one minute, gone the next.  After I walked in circles, I had her paged to come to the registers.  I don't remember what she was looking at.  I think she does it on purpose.  😀

Very busy today around the house.  Tomorrow the same.  We're going to see sister either Monday or Tuesday.

Graciesmom yup your back at the Dr's. He needs to look at it again. More of the same antibiotics or different ones. You have to keep it elevated. When my mother had a cellulitis of her leg I applied warm soaks. Did it help?/ who knows but it made me feel better. Us old nurses use to apply warm soaks to everything. The antibiotics will do the most good and time.

GC don't knock your head against the wall with your mother and the cell phone. She doesn't want to understand. Fran called me in once because she heard a pinging sound. She has some sort of senior cell phone. PS it needed to be charged the battery was low. No concept what so ever that you have to charge it. It's hopeless.

BFF's, I had a humbling experience this morning called Ballet Barre. The ' teacher' was maybe 18 years old, absolutely no fat on her, an 8 pack, and an inexhaustable amount of energy.

I knew I was in trouble.

Nevermind the 1 handed side planks and jumping back and forth from that position (the instructor; I was on my knees gasping and trying to figure out how to modify the exercise-), I knew I had 55 minutes left of my personal 'Waterloo".

DH asked if I was the oldest person in the class. No, there was someone more decrepit than me. He is afraid I'll hurt myself. Hah! I'm not able to do enough to injure myself, but yes, I do hurt roght now. I keep telling myself it's a  good type of hurt-@#$%^&@.

Next Sunday I'll try yoga. How much worse could it be?...

I have to remember to tell DH I'll be at the gym when I leave the house

.

He has to know where to send the ambulance.

BFF, I thought you were describing yourself....haha.  there is no way you are that sad.  That would be me.  I have an eight pack that I put in the fridge yesterday.  It's called diet Pepsi.  You are only going once a week?  Seems to me you need to go more often.

@GCR18  I'm going to the gym 4-5x a week.

That increases my chances of hospitalization, but I'll have better muscle tone, I hope.
