4 times a year I get CPAP supplies and I really don't have any choice about who my supplier for them is because there is only one supplier in my small town.So changing companies is not an option. Anyway I am due to get supplies in December. Normally they send an e mail telling me what I am eligible for and I check off what I need from the list and return it - about a month later it arrives. I realized last night I had not gotten the e mail so today I called them. The guy who answered said yes, you should have gotten an e mail and when you didn't return it you should have gotten a phone call. Well, I did not get either , and his answer was Yes, it looks like we really dropped the ball on this. While it was nice that he admitted the company made the mistake, these are important medical supplies. They can make a huge difference to a person's health & welfare. I don't think "dropping the ball " is a reasonable explanation. Lincare - at least the office near my home is just a horrible company to deal with. Every year we go to a town hall meeting with our health insurance agent and he talks about what is new with the insurance this year etc.At every one of those meetings someone brings up Lincare and how desparately we would like to have a different supplier choice. Unfortunately, there is no other supplier available in the area.

My dad gets his stuff through Lincare. He was due a new CPAC machine and they kept telling him the insurance didn't pay for it. Second they sent him the wrong size masks or whatever they are called. But for 95% of the time it's been a pretty good company.

The Lincare office we deal with when we are in Pa is much better than the one here in Florida. This one is just horrible.

I've had one experience with Lincare and that was their office in Alamosa, Colorado when my dad headed to the mountains with empty oxygen tanks. They were wonderful and went the extra mile to help us.

It used to be you could walk into an office and get what you needed. Then Lincare took over and it's a nightmare. They only try to sell you things and if you asked what insurance covers, they tell you they are just a customer service representative and they don't know about the coverage.

I have had this experience too - they will absolutely never tell you what you can get and when.
