Like someone else mentioned, high blood sugar can be the cause. Not having a UTI several times a year is just one of the positive things that I've experienced since changing my diet to one that includes little to no carbs/sugar. Before changing my diet, I was on auto delivery on Amazon for Cystex liquid. It works well as a preventative and also as a way to treat a UTI that's just starting. Hope you find something that works soon because I know what it's like to suffer from chronic UTIs.

Oh boy @viva923  sorry you are going through these constant bladder infections.

First off, did you ever try "Uristat". You know it makes your urine a red color but soothes and helps with the burning.  Plus warm soaks.

I don't have a real solution but many here have given you some good options.

My mother had them constantly too and her Urologist and GYN agreed to put Mom back on Premarin cream for the dryness.

Those two areas are so close and so are connected.

You don't have to put in the whole tube twice a week. Mom told me it burned when it came out.  I told Mom to just squeeze a big finger full of the Premarin cream and gently slide it in. It won't hurt you for those who are nervous about hormones.

The last years of her life it worked and she was infection free.

Plus she purchased it in Canada.  Way too expensive here in US as it never went off patent.  I purchase mine in Canada as well. It's called "price *** in Vancouver.  5 stars for them. One tube will last a long time.

Best.

@viva923 , sorry you are having this issue. I've seen a product (OTC) advertised on TV called Ucora. You could google it and see what you think. The young lady who invented it said she suffered from UTI's all the time. Maybe someone here has tried it and could give you more info.

Re: CONSTANT UTI INFECTIONS

[ Edited ]

@viva923 - this may sound excessive, but with them being so frequent and recurrent, I'd ask your PCP or urologist to order a CT scan. I hadn't had one in 15-20 years, but then two UTI 's six weeks apart prompted me to go to the ER.  It's uncommon, but the ER doc suggested a CT scan and while everything else looked ok, they found a sizable mass on my kidney.  She saved my life!

@wonderfulworld   I tried D-Mannose when I thought I might have a UTI.  It turned out I didn't have one; however, the one time I tried D-Mannose it really upset my stomach.

I have IBS, mixed type, so digestive issues are no stranger to me; however, I think if I ever had a UTI I'd have to find another remedy because the D-Mannose caused me serious stomach problems.

@viva923  I used to get chronic UTI's.  My DIL suggested this product, which has helped her with UTI problems.  I've been on it daily and haven't had a UTI in a couple years.

Pure Encapsulations, Probiotic-5

I have found the best price at amazon.

@Pink123  Premarin should be pulled off the market. It's ingredients and the way it is obtained are cruel. Way back in the day it was all there was, but today it isn't, and most people are aware of how it's obtained and chose cruelty free options as well as newer and better formulations.
