CHOCONUVO CHOCOLATE MELTED MESS

I received my first order ever of this product for DH to help lower his cholesterol.  Anyway, when it came, of course he wanted to try one.  It was a soft, melty mess.  He actually licked it off the wrapper.  I refrigerated a handful to see if they would firm up.  They did firm up some, but they are still stuck to the wrapper and have to be scrapped (or licked Woman Wink) off to eat.  Is this normal?  I pictured being able to tear open the wrapper and pull out the wafer.  I kind of hoped it would be something we could carry with us and he could enjoy one after a meal out...........sounds like a fantasy doesn't it........eating dinner out........I digress...... it wouldn't be handy or proper to have to eat them this way in public.  Any ideas?  BTW  it is in the 90's here this week.....Woman Embarassed

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

In many parts of the country, it has been warmer than normal, probably too warm to be shipping chocolate.  Try putting it in the freezer and when very firm, peeling the wrapper off.

Re: CHOCONUVO CHOCOLATE MELTED MESS

You need to call customer service.  This is not normal.  I have some melted in my last order and they gave me double my money back.  They are still edible and taste ok but not as good as the unmelted ones.  I need to check my order that just came now - hoping they are not melted.  Sorry that this happened as I think the product is very good.  Andrew does a great job of standing behind his products.

This happened to me the first time I ordered.  I called HSN and they credited my account.  I live in Florida and never order Choconuovo during the April TSV.  He will have another TSV in November or December.  I understand this doesn't help you now but be assured they are wonderful little bites of chocolate and worth the wait.

Re: CHOCONUVO CHOCOLATE MELTED MESS

A few years ago, when they introduced two new flavors in July, they said they were taking all kinds of precautions so that they wouldn't arrive melted.  Well, that didn't work, and what I found was that I had to leave them in the refrigerator, and take one out when I wanted one; otherwise, they would get too soft again.

This happened to me a year ago. I found that the flavor changed when melted, and I didn't like it. They will make you send it back if you want a refund.

I live in NV, and very close to Andrew's facility. It hasn't been hot or even warm here, yet. I don't know why they would be melted.

That happened to me once but I was told that nothing changed except for the appearance. I used them all.  I just received my new order and it was fine.

Re: CHOCONUVO CHOCOLATE MELTED MESS

This is disappointing and it happened to me once. The chocos arrived soft, not melted. I put them in the fridge and really they just were not as enjoyable with somethng off with them.  Now I make sure that my final orders are in around March. But really the weather can be unpredicable here in MD.

Never happened to me; however, Andrew's Customer Service people are super! I have called them about questions I have with some of his products and their uses.

Call them. They will make it right. Heart
