Has anyone tried this to help manage stress - thinking a lot of us have more than usual!  Thank you in advance.

Have used, but not for stress.  My issue is leg cramps

Did your blood or urine test come back with results that concern your doctor?  If not, maybe ingesting a lot is not a good idea.

I take it nightly, more for digestive issues. I don't think it would hurt anything for you to try it. I am taking an antidepressant, but I think the calm helps to relax me at night.

That stuff made me feel like but wanted to crawl out of skin the next morning. Can't explain it but did not agree with me.

I have heard good things about Calm magnesium powder at bedtime from numerous people I know.  That said, I love taking magnesium sulfate baths!  Sooooo relaxing.  I don't do it often, but now that you have mentioned magnesium, I think I will take one this evening!

If you do try it, my advice would be to start off with the smallest amount recommended. It can help relax you, some friends take it to sleep,  but one night I took a whole tsp and I felt so tired, almost drunk like. Wasn't pleasant for me.

@Jersey Born Yes me too! Epsom magnesium salt baths are so relaxing.

I tried it for awhile.Not a fan.  I get more calming from a triple magnesium capsule at night than from a drink. besides---I try not to drink much at night----hate getting up to go to the bathroom. I take magnesium for my funky heart beats as well as it helps my  sleep be a little more productive. Don't sleep longer just a more restful sleep.
