C PAP MACHINE USERS???

I am fairly new (3 months) with my new machine. I was told to clean my water tank and other items once a week. Well I am kinda lazy and find myself only doing it every 2 weeks or so. How often do you clean yours and am I crazy for not cleaning it every week. Thanks
