Broke a tooth today eating lunch.  Emergency trip to the dentist in the morning.

Anybody else have that recurring dream wher your teeth all just crumble in your mouth?  I think it's becoming a reality.

@Icegoddess  Do you really have dreams about teeth crumbling?  If so, you can look up the reasons for the dream online. Or, you can ask a physician.

I feel your pain.  The older I get, the more I have invested in my teeth.  All that money for crowns.

@PA Mom-mom I actually have severaly recurring themes and that is one of them.  The others are:

1.  The flying dream but the stroke is more of a breast stroke rather than a flapping stroke.

2.  The breathing under water dream where I'm trying to reach the bottom of the pool like I used to do all the time growing up, but the bottom jsut isn't there.  I realize I need to get to the surface to breathe, but can't make it.  I gasp and find out I'm in like some sort of air bubble where I can breathe under water.

3.  The no clothes dream, not necessarily naked.  Generally, I'm trying to change clothes, but can't find the clohes I want to wear even though there's a bunch of clothes all over the place.  At the same time, someone is trying to get me to go and it's almost as if they don't even notice I'm in some state of undress.

@Still Raining You and me both.  Plus one implant.  I also had braces a few years ago (for the 2nd time in my life) and it wasn't for vanity.

@Icegoddess ....sorry, I got you beat !!  Last week, I broke a tooth - that was under a crown !  So I ended up having to get a root canal done and another crown put on all in one day.  EXHAUSTING !

@Icegoddess I'm sorry to hear about your broken tooth! That same thing happened to me a couple of years ago. I ended up needing two crowns, side by side, on the lower left! I was eating a salad with some pistachios in it, and I must have cracked the teeth on the nuts. A couple of months later, I had my yearly physical exam and told my doctor about it. He immediately thought of a Vitamin D deficiency and after a blood test, he was right! I started taking Vitamin D3 and had a follow-up blood test months later that showed I was normal. Now I take 1000 IU Vitamin D3 every day to maintain that level. I have to avoid both dairy items and the sun, so that was why I was low on Vitamin D! I thought I would mention it just in case you want to look into that cause for your broken tooth. Good luck!

@EdithEllenLily Thanks, but not a Vit. D deficiency.  I have been on 50,000 IU/week + 4000 IU daily except on the day I take my prescription D for a couple of years now. We figured out that that was the only way to keep my levels up.

I have had problem teeth my entire life.  I'm working on my 2nd set of fillings, have a mouth full of crowns, and 1 implant.

I don't know which is worse...broken teeth or teeth falling out for no apparent reason. I've got both problems now and I'm waiting to get several implants and several veneers but the pandemic stopped everything.  Things are on hold indefinitely.
