When I saw this, I honestly thought it was a joke. I read the artlicle, and it says the woman consumed very little, if any food while pregnant and both her children were healthy. Remembering my two pregnancies, I don't know how this could even be.

@chrystaltree yes and if it was true anorexics wouldn't die and the world hunger campaign is a scam.People in the areas that are starving would have the cleanest healthiest air to survive on.

This was big in the late 1970s and early 1980s and is totally bunk.

I was in Nursing School at this point and taking Nutrition.  My professor brought this very subject up during one lecture and indicated, as others have said, that it is simply not possible to exist as they do.

In other words - it's all a bunch of bologna.

Note this was in the NY Post, borrowed from The Sun - the tabloid that frequently has photos of alien babies and dog people on their cover.

I feel very, very sorry for anyone who believes anything in that article is real.

Snopes utterly refutes all of it, as well as a similar tale from an Australian woman.
