Breast cancer question

I have a family history of breast cancer and was wondering those who have a family history or have been diagnosed, do your Drs say no alcohol or can you have 2 or 3 drinks a week? DH has a glass of red wine every day and I join him 4 times a week (other day drink non-alc) but maybe I should not drink at all. My Dr said a few years back 2 to 4 especially red wine was probably okay but she wasn't a cancer Dr.

An old question but still in the news....I was diagnosed in Nov. 2015.  Stage 1 lumpectomy and radiation now Tamoxifen.  ALL of my team said it was ok to have a drink.  My aftercare plan states to have no more than one drink per day.  It's a tough question.  I have been having a drink about 3 times a week mostly in a social setting.  I just wonder about all those women in Italy that drink lots of wine daily!!
