Stage 1 is curable, and has not spread beyond the original tumor. I was classified as stage 1 five years ago.

I will be remembering your Darla, and you in my prayers each day.

@gloriajean - Use your pink color as much as you like!  Stage 1 is the best news you could ask for, given the diagnosis.

I'm glad you're at last getting the information you need to move forward in a positive way.  Just remember, one day at a time.  Prayers that you and all of your family will be blessed this Thanksgiving.  Heart

Her first chemo went well, so far no side effects, but was told that could happen later.  Next appt. is scheduled on the 23rd.  Six chemo appts. and then surgery, hoping the tumor has shrunk down to almost nothing!  Thanks for your prayers and responses.

Good support here.

Oh, I spoke too soon.  She's can't keep any food down today!  It must have happened tonight, this afternoon one of her twins had a dance recital, and she seemed fine, now not.  She wants us to come tomorrow and cook fish, she is vegetarian.  So we pray!

@gloriajean , Darla is in my prayers.  I am sad that she is feeling the effects from cancer treatment.  The staff will be able help her with nausea. They can give her medicine for it with the chemo.

Prayers for better days.
