I am needing some info about a good brand of Biotin and Folic Acid. I go to the Walgreens here and there are so many. I look on Amazon and there are even more.

Does anyone have a good and consistent brand?

Andrew Lessman's of PROCAPS Laboratories.  They can be purchased on Amazon or HSN.  HSN has really good sales on them several times a years.  I've tried different brands but Andrew Lessman's has made a noticeable improvement in my hair and nails.

I trust the Vitamin Shoppe brand.  I order from them a lot.

Lessman's Heathy Skin and Nails is an excellent brand for Biotin. Not sure of a brand for Folic acid.

Since these supplements are unregulated, I don't know how anyone would know which ones are "good" and the consumer sure wouldn't know if they're consistant.  For over a year I took high doses of biotin from different brands hoping to help my fingernails.  I saw no change from any of them.  I, of course, don't even know if those capsules actually contained biotin.  It's a crapshoot.

I trust Puritans Pride, Vitacost and Swanson. usually I take Puritans Pride 7500 mcg Biotin , one tablet daily.
