@Kitty Galore So sorry! I scraped up knees big time chasing a car down a hill and I used Neosporin. My scrapes were too major not to leave marks but I have to say I think that really sped up the process of healing and I was in one piece literally after a 2-3 inch gash in about a week. Sounds like you are not nearly as bad.
I will also second pure aloe if you can find a plant in your supermarket. My grandmother used it for everything. Just snap a tip off and it's the same as neosporin consistency.

You may want to check out Ebay and search for something like,
"Healing scars."

I tend to use A & D ointment for lots of things. I have extrememly sensitive skin & careful not to irritate things.

I use Polysporin (not Neosporin) and A & D ointment. As a matter of fact I was ironing a couple of days ago and put the iron on end while I fussed with the fabric and it tipped over onto my arm! It touched me for only a second and I have a 3" burn on my arm! I've been using Polysporin (especially since the blusters burst) and A & D ointment.....
I do NOT want this thing to get infected....

@Kitty Galore, I am a fan of Bactine (reminds me of my childhood) but it's great to spray on anytime. I also use Neosporin which should help with no scarring. ![]()
