You are so right! DH's cardiologist, arrhymic electrologist, and oncologist all told him the same thing: walk for 30 minutes to start. How fast and how far doesn't matter at all. Don't stroll, just walk as fast and steady as you feel comfortable with. If you are going too fast, you will know it and slow down, but don't stop....keep moving! The # of steps is for your own info, but doesn't make you healthier.
