Is elderberry syrup different from elderberry concentrate?  

 

I take the concentrate, which I buy from a winery, starting in the fall and all through the winter to help keep away sickness.  I take a tbs. a day, straight from the bottle.  I love the taste!

 

Am I missing something?

Syrups contain other ingredients, such as sweeteners and thickening agents. Concentrates do not contain other things and they are just that, concentrated versions of the fruit juice in this case.
