I had my pre-op (TKR) blood work done Monday and my BUN level came back high. (My doctor is out of town for ten days.) My doctor's office just said it was high but did not give me the number.
Is there a treatment or something to bring it to back to the normal range? Will this prevent or delay the surgery? I will be asking my doctor these questions (already have an appointment but not until June 18) but I'm going a little (maybe a lot) antsy thinking I have to wait that long.
Thank you for any knowledge about this level that you could share.
