I recently had a bone density test. The test was done six months after breaking my RIGHT hip.
It says: " There is Osteoporosis of the LEFT femoral neck (total score of -2-7) This represents a decrease of 3.8% when compared to prior study."
It also said there was DEGENERATIVE changes in the lumbar spine.
The doctor sent the report to me with a note that she would discuss findings with me at my next appointment which is later this month.
Can anyone decipher what the left femoral neck is? My left hip is my "good" hip. I'm frightened now that I may break my left hip easily and winter is coming on. I'm 64 years old.
Thank you in advance.
