I check out this thread on a casino and lately have become very concerned about advice being dispensed here.

Please check out Quackwatch.com for names of specialists recommended here. There is a very long list . You can click on a name and see what actions have been taken against them.

i worry about those who come here seeking medical advice by lay people.

Are you aware that you can edit your original post to fix your spelling errors?

Forgive me..I forget how snarky Saturday night can get.

It is very sad that people come to a public bulletin board for medical advice.

@50Mickey..... The OP is posting about the number of physicians that are discussed here that are Quacks and when you google them, they have often had their license revoked for a time and offer nothing to the patient except to line their own pockets.

There is a lot of advice given here on dietary programs and blaming people for having a disease. It is amazing that the moderators permit some of what I have read here. The OP is warning people to get their medical advice from their own personal physician.

@Trinity11

While I'm all for getting feedback on a variety of subjects here, I certainly don't need anyone to tell me to go to my doctor for medical advice ...  JMO.

I don't mind any advice here. I think most are sincere and I can weed through what doesn't work for me.

If it's about the thread we're guessing about? I think there was a lot of truth to it and was meant well.
