For any of you gals that remember I have had two surgeries this past year. My first one was for polyps on my uterus and cysts on my ovaries. The second one was testing of endometroisis which was found attached to my colon and pelvis. Since then I have been on Yasmin for estrogen but the pain didn't stop before so my Dr. put me on Yasmin continuously for three months to try to avoid the pain. Well, I tried it for the first time and I started a period 2 months into it. They told me stop it and then start it again but this time I made it three months but started two and 1/2 weeks early. I went to the Dr. yesterday and he is switching me from Yasmin to Aygestin and he did bioposy on my uterus to test the tissue again. I'm waiting on the results now. He's trying to keep from having to do a full hysterectomy on me. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this medication.

I guess I'm scared of what these things will actually do to my body as far as increasing my risk for getting cancer. I hope someone can give me some insight if you have ever taken this. Thanks!
