I always wondered why people put off having these procedures until they could'nt stand it any longer and then it becomes an emergency for them. I watched my husband slide around when he could hardly walk any longer due to a bad hip. He was in pain all the time and I think he just got used to it. Thank goodness he was proactive and sheduled his surgery for the second hip replacement when he was on summer break from school about 8 months later. Constant pain is very draining and I feel so sorry for you and hope all turns out well.
