Locally here in southern WV, it's hard to find someone who isn't in some stage of sickness.  RSV, flu, Covid and norovirus are rampant here and have been since right after Thanksgiving.  Another big surge came after Christmas.  

I do not go out unless I HAVE to; I'm out and back before 10 a.m.   I use neosporin around my nostrils when I'm out around people (learned this from a doctor), and I swish with a peroxide solution daily as well as rinse my toothbrush with straight peroxide after every use.

If you're sick, I hope you feel better soon!  If you're well, I hope you stay that way 

Next month DH and I are being treated to a live indoor music concert. I am a bit worried with all the singing and shouting that may go on.

@RedTop I have never heard about using neosporin around the nostrils, what does that do?

It traps inhaled viruses and bacteria before they reach the moisture in the nose to multiply.  All of the staff in my doctors office do this thru the winter months to try to reduce their exposure risks.

Hand sanitizer doesn't work on Norovirus. Only washing your hands at least 20 seconds with soap & water work.

I;ve had a cold for a little over a week now.  My husband now has it.

There are so many nasty things out there going around. In stores I have worn a mask at times even now. Because I have seen shoppers sneezing, blowing their nose, coughing all over and none try to shield any of this! 

I try and protect myself with a mask, lots of hand washing. When I am in the stores and see this happening I try and go into a different aisle lol.  I have been happy to see others not afraid to mask up too.
