Are any of your doctors still doing video visits? My primary care's office was doing video visits months ago but they stopped. I really prefer this type of visit.
I know there are telemedicine companies. I'm not talking about this.

My doctor gives you a choice. In office visits or video. There are some ov that needs to be done in person.

I so rarely ever need a doctor I'm not sure if mine ever was doing video visits. I can contact him via E-mail, but if I really need his attention, I'll just call the office.
I had a face-to-face meeting with him today to get my Physical test results. Most of that could be done via video, but they did get weight and BP and he also listened to a few things and pressed on a few things which can't be done via video.

My PCP is doing all video appts. She has a respiratory condition but still has patients in local hospitals.
I fax my blood pressure readings since the last televising so she has them beforehand. She will forward me my scrip for the Feb. bloodwork while I am in FL.
She is very involved with COVID-19 preparation and continuing coordination. She has been on technical medicine webinars with Dr. Fauci as well as in touch with infectious disease doctors globally ( they had trained in local hospitals earlier in their careers ).
She is on my prayer list to stay in good health !

I know specialists are still doing telehealth visits here, not sure about primary care. I wish they would offer the choice if appropriate. My PCP office was closed a few weeks ago due to a Covid outbreak.

I think my primary care primary care dr is doing both.
My neurologist is doing both.
My dermatologist has gone back to mainly in person. They did say I will come in a back door and go directly to the patient room, that patients are separated.

I just had a televisit about 2 weeks ago....no video involved. She said she'd soon be back in the office. She's 60+ and in the vulnerable group.

My PCP has done them for several years as long as you are an established patient and this is not a serious/life threatening issue.
He offers a choice of a short or long visit, my choice but there is an extra cost for the longer 20 minute visit.
I prepay upfront. If I submit a claim to ins, I wait for the reimbursement.

Two out of three of my specialists have done video since this started.
The third has me come in.
First appointment with primary in a year and a half is tomorrow and I will go in. I had DD there today and we were the only ones in the waiting room. The interesting one will be the cardio for DD...there is always a wait but I have put it off long enough and she needs to be seen.

My husband went to the doctors today. The Doctor had two masks on. Visit went as usual.
