Hi,
I have a long history of back pain (cerebral palsy contributes) and just got a series of injections and then radiofrequency ablation of the nerves. Diagnosed with instability of SI joint, arthritis and facet syndrome. It has helped a lot, but still am on painkillers.
My pain management specialist suggested I get a TENS unit now while I have Insurance as I will be going on Medicare only starting May 1st, and Medicare will not pay to have the ablation done.
I just got one yesterday from my physical therapist for a trial period. Have used it twice and it did seem to help. Can anyone give me their experience with one and any tips?
