Anyone taking Vyzulta eye drops?

My eye dr gave me a sample of these new drops. They are under patent so they're super expensive....$400+ per ONE 5 ml bottle. I'm not sure I want to be taking a brand new drug. I realize doctors get a nice kick back from the drug manufacturers so this is a turn off also. I had been on Lumigan for 5 1/2 yr & eye pressure took a big jump in one eye. Medicare & my supplement won't cover this drug either. Thoughts......

Doctors get no kick backs from pharmaceutical companies.

Explain to your eye doctor that you have no coverage for this drug and need a substitute. I had to do the same when my insurance company would not pay for a drug for my glaucoma.

Good luck...

Have you tried GoodRX? My eye doctors gave me a prescription for BROMSITE for my cataract surgery. Naturally my insurance didn’t cover  that one. It started out at $360 a tiny bottle but GoodRX brought it down to $195 a bottle. Still a ghastly price but luckily I only needed 2 bottles. All my other eyedrops were covered by insurance.

Physicians can lose their licenses for accepting kick backs and gifts. You are either misinformed or your doctor is breaking the law.

It makes me IRRATE that insurance won't pay for these drugs that people so desperately NEED!!!
