Anyone have anything like this?

On Saturday, my body completely revolted and eliminated every liquid in it other than my blood. This was "both ways" to put it delicately and went on for hours and hours. I have had a flu shot, and I know that flu is respiratory so this was a stomach virus of some sort or food poisoning. But, it is Tuesday, and, although I'm recovering, I'm still not well. During THE night when all of this was happening, my stomach hurt so bad that I was actually screaming. Finally, when I managed to get a teensey bit of water into me, that horrible pain stopped. If you've had anything similar to this, what's the recovery time? TIA
