Anyone have Trigeminal Neuralgia?

I have had trigeminal neuralgia for over 10yrs. after a parotidectomy. In the beginning I dealt with it by taking meds and when it got unbearable I had Gamma Knife 3yrs ago. Unfortunately the pain has come back with a vengence and I am seeing a neurosurgeon at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Fl about my options. As I wait for MRI results I would appreciate any advice or experience you have had with this most horribly painful condition.
