My little brother was born with a baker's cyst behind his left knee. That was 50 years ago now. He had surgery when he was like 5 years old. They removed it, it was benign and he had no more trouble with it. hope that helps.
My mom had one, she had surgery, one day in and out. Went well. She was about 80 at the time. She is 84 now and no further problems. It was very painful and she had hard time walking before the surgery.
I have had injections, tried icing behind the knees, knee brace, walking and still....they are there.
Suggestions are welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you.
@butterfly123 I had to have double knee replacement to get rid of mine. My knees were shot and I had constant bakers cysts behind both knees. Now I am pain free.
