Yes, I've been officially diagnosed through a blood test. I think I got bitten at the first of June and had my bloodwork done around late July and the virus was still there. I apparantly have a mild version, so my prescription is rest and lots of fluids. I have good days and then I have days that are just "lay on the couch and not move" days.
To top is off, last Friday night I developed some type of rash on my neck. I've not been outside working in the yard, no new products, nada. It has slowly spread across my neck and it really, really itchy!!! I broke down yesterday and went to a local clinic (couldn't get in to my doc and I wanted someone to see my rash), got a steroid shot and pills. It's better but still there.
I think it's from the West Nile but no one really knows.
So, have any of you been blessed with this wonderful virus that doctors really don't know much about?
