I wasn't aware that was a possibility, @sann. Thank you!

Re: Any suggestion for paying for Humira?

@Lostandscared, I didn't have any negative RA response to my COVID-19 shots (Moderna) in January & February. At the recommendation of my Rheumatoligist, I just got the booster shot yesterday. As with the first two, I have a very sore arm, but no flare.

I'll post an update once I figure this out. The prespription request is in the review process with Humana, but in the meanwhile, thanks to the very kind and helpful suggestions from you all, I have some homework to do!!!

as @wenfen just said. if you go for the cheapest plan per month  you will pay on the back end,  look at all your options

Have you tried going to the Humira website? Sometimes they offer financial assistance if you can't afford the drug. Or, give them a call and speak with someone.

Re: Any suggestion for paying for Humira?

Speak with the rheumatologist that ordered it.  Let him or her know that you are on a fixed income and the co-pays are too much for you.  The pharmaceutical company might be able to offer some financial assistance.  Some do with high dollar drugs.
