I did, @lolakimono. GoodRX shows the cost as over $6K for two doses. Ugh...

If you have Medicare Part D, you still may be eligible as an exception.  Call 1-800-222-6885 for more information.

Re: Any suggestion for paying for Humira?

Oh my gosh ! I am dealing with the exact same thing !  I have R A also, and had it for 20 years now. I am on methotrexate, and prednisone for flare ups, which lately are every day. I hate taking prednisone and trying to get on remicade or another drug. I am on medicare also. I just got on medicare so i am still trying to figure it all out.

I found out i have a 20% copay, so not sure what i am going to do. Please keep us updated on how it works out for you.

I was wondering, you don't have to answer, but I got the covid 2 part shot and my flare ups have increased a lot. my hands are awful, never had it there before. Did you notice being worse after covid shot if you got it ? I know the 2 part shot raises your imune system, and mine is in overdrive lately. I was talking to another person with R.A. who also was having problems. Best of luck.

@GarlandGal @Lostandscared @Here's the Humira Assistance Program for help paying. The application is there. This comes from the manufacturer.

Don't let the high price tag freak you out just yet. I would speak directly with your pharmacist and let him check and tell you what your actual cost would be. I take one drug that rings up $1800. It goes down to $48.74 after he puts in all of the code numbers. This was with Humana Med Advantage. I have found the GoodRX and similar programs cost me more, not less. They seem to be made for people without insurance. Good luck!

Yikes, @grandma2pkmh. My budget is just not going to support those costs on an ongoing basis. I hope I can quality for some income-based relief!

Well that's disapponting, @KingstonsMom. The info on the foundation is encouraging though.
