The last two pairs of glasses I've gotten can't be used on the computer. I'm still using my 12 year old ones for that, through the bifocal part. I got those in a different city, I remember the doc asking me if I did a lot of computer work and he said he would compensate for that. The last two docs don't seem to know what I'm talking about. They are good for distance and the bifocal is stronger for normal reading and for tiny print. But the computer thing is bugging me, it seems like my old ones had infinite focus in the bifocal is the only way I can describe it. Can anyone tell me how to tell these docs what I am talking about? I've tried Varilux in the past and it made me feel like I was in a funhouse. So I need an standard bifocal, I think. History of surgically corrected strabismus and astigmatism.
