We're extremely closely bonded and this experience made us even more so.

 

But she was ready to get home to her 'babies', her 8 indoor rescue (formerly feral) cats, LOL! 

 

 

You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

@KingstonsMom  - So glad to hear everything went as well as possible.  And I certainly understand her desire to get home to her furbabies!  They help us to heal, too, and I'll bet they miss her a lot.
