I haven't had the chance to make anything yet - been on the road a lot lately.

The recipes do look very easy to make. I need to make out a shopping list

and try something this week.

Will post back when I do.

Got my dinner ready early tonight, before the storms hit.....but we can't eat

until Wheel of Fortune comes on. LOL

Took a taste test......

Made the bell pepper soup - I expected to love it, but a bit disappointed.

Not much flavor, to my taste buds.  Added in some red pepper flakes

for heat and some greek yogurt for creaminess.

Maybe I would enjoy it more if it were 30 degrees outside rather than in

the 80's.  Doubt that I'll make this again.

Also made the turkey/kale meatballs.  They are OK.

After taste testing, I made a avocado/jalapeno sauce to go over.  Greatly

improves those meatballs.  Smiley Happy

Also made some zucchini pancakes. Not Andrew/Muriel recipe.

Not giving up on the books. Still many recipes I want to try.

Maybe the asparagus soup next.  Suppose to be Andrews favorite.

Appreciate the review @yellowrose!

I'd love to hear how the asparagus soup turns out if you try it.

I dont understand why Andrew is so secretive about the relationship. He does not appear comfortable talking about her.  I did hear him mention a trip to France together. On a personal note, Andrew would be a difficult person to live with. Did anyone ever see the inside of his refrigerator ? He showed a shot with teas place in meticulous order, labeled. There was nothing out of order. The man appears to need to have everything in perfect order. He is a perfectionist.

@Reever I don't think he is secretive about his relationship with Muriel. Where did you get that idea?

As to him being a perfectionist, I hope he is and always will be since I purchase his products. I like that it takes him years and years to bring us new products because he doesn't want to put them on the market until he feels they are as good as he can make them. Heart

I remember on one of his recent presentations, he was talking about how he used to have a sunscreen (think that was the product) years ago. The reviews were not good and he immediately took it off the market and worked on it for several more years before he could bring the product back with better results. I like that kind of dedication and commitment.
