Okay, I have to ask ..... if anyone takes this, is there anything noticeably beneficial for taking them?
I tried these about a year ago, and had bought the smallest bottle ... not enough time to know if they did anything.
Anyone have some feedback on this supplement? TIA
Omega 3 is a very useful and important supplement. Some of the benefits from an article I recently read:
-Can fight depression/anxiety
-can improve eye health
-can promote brain health
-can reduce risk factors for heart disease
-can reduce triglycerides
-can reduce blood pressure
-can raise good cholesterol
-can keep blood platelets from clumping
-can keep arteries smooth & free from damage
-can reduce inflammation
-can reduce symptoms of metabolic syndrome
-can fight autoimmune disease, include type 1 diabetes & multiple sclerosis
- can help treat lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, ulcerative colitis, Crohn's, psoriasis
-can improve mental disorders, mood swings, schizophrenia, bipolar, age related mental decline, alzheimer's
- may prevent cancer
-can reduce asthma
-can reduce fat in your liver
-may improve bone & joint health
-can alleviate menstrual pain
-can be good for your skin
-may improve your sleep
I recently went to a brain health clinic to help with insomnia and they stressed taking a high quality Omega 3 supplement, which I was already taking, but I bumped up my amount after getting their recommendations. I don't think you can go wrong taking an Omega 3 supplement. My experience with supplements is that it does take longer to realize benefits (longer than taking a drug, which can begin to work immediately), and sometimes the benefits are so subtle that you might not notice until you STOP taking them and the symptoms return. Also, as the list above suggests, supplements may PREVENT problems, and you may never recognize or know what it prevents.
